3 RK1 Water Wheel Competition 

On 13/10/2011, a competition was held at Science Laboratory 3 of SMK Iskandar Shah.

Materials :

- Cardboard

- Plastic egg tray

- Rod

- Plank (Ruler, Ice cream stick etc.)

- Plasticine

- Stapler

- Sticking tape

Procedure :

1. Cut the the cupboard into two circular shape of the same size.

2. Cut the plastic tray to form a cup.

3. Staple the egg cup to the edge of one of the circular cardboard.
4. Make a hole to the centre of the cardboard.
5. Staple the other cardboard so that, it will form a wheel.
6. Insert the rod through the hole of the wheel.
7. Put the wheel on top of the plank and put it under a water tap.
8. The water wheel is ready to be operated.

     Team 1 won the competition with 96 rotation of the wheel in a minute. Team 2 managed to get their Water Wheel to turn about 36 rotation per minute. Team 3 only managed to have the wheel spinning for only 34 times per minute.

Team 1 leader, Muhammad Hanif said, '' I am very happy with the result of this competition. After working together the product of our team proved to be the best. All credits to the whole team for their effort working on the wheel and thank you to our science teacher, Pn Nazlin, for giving us the oppurtunity to try making the water wheel.''
